Yes, in principle.
I usually don't understand the Emacs changes fully, but I need to appreciate whether they interfere with Aquamacs' changes.  Usually, this is only considered where Git indicated a merge conflict.  Other cases will probably go unnoticed.

I checked in a fix for the build problem, by the way.
