[Aquamacs-devel] Apps for plugins: install location, etc.

The imaxima plugin I am putting together includes Maxima.app and
Gnuplot.app. My inclination is to install these, not directly in
/Applications/, but in /Applications/Aquamacs-plugins/. (Macports does
something similar for any .app bundles it installs.) Subsequent plugins
would then use the same subdirectory. Any strong opinions against this
approach?
The plugin will put new files in /etc/paths.d and /etc/manpaths.d, and name
them aquamacs-imaxima, so they're clearly identifiable as associated with
aquamacs. (Adding to manpaths.d isn't necessary for the plugin to work, but
I figure it provides easier access to documentation for the new commands
that will be in user's $PATH.)
Comments welcome!
