[Aquamacs-devel] Bidi issues in Aquamacs24 branch

Hello,

A message was posted to the emacs-bidi list outlining some issues with
incorrect cursor positioning when using bidi functionality with the
nightly aquamacs24 version:

After some message exchanges and a comparison of emacs 24 sources with
aquamacs24 sources, Eli Zaretskii (an emacs developer who has done
most of the bidi-related emacs work) determined that "For some reason,
Aquamacs uses a relatively old trunk as the base for its changes, and
it looks like only some changes on the trunk are merged in". He also
said "So to fix this problem, please ask Aquamacs maintainers to
resync with bidi.c and xdisp.c from the latest development trunk":

Could one of the aquamacs maintainers (David?) please comment on how
frequently the aquamacs24 branch is refreshed from the emacs24 sources
and when the next resync is likely to occur?
