[Aquamacs-devel] Info-directory puzzlements....

Have you tried launching without customizations ( Help--> Diagnose and
Report Bug )?
For me, M-x info shows many more items than your list -- see below.  The
value of Info-directory-list does include /usr/local/ entries:
