[Aquamacs-devel] new icon for 2.0?

George,

I love the idea.

It stands out much more from other icons than the current clipboard
(attached for comparison) and I really like the fact that it conveys
editing as "cutting and pasting" and not primarily "typing".

To take this further, I would probably experiment slightly with the
colors (also to make the pen a bit more visible) and with a slight
tilt to the left (OS X typical). The current emphasis is on the "E"
for Emacs, rather than "Aquamacs". Perhaps tilting the paper to the
left and letting the pasted-on "E" stand out to the right would be
doable.

The gnu head is great like this - it looks like it's drawn, just what
the icon needs.

Important... the brand is "Aquamacs" rather than "AquaMacs".

Would your girlfriend be able to play with her idea a little more
along those lines? I'd find that great.

What do others think?

- David
